LANDLORD FEES

Trueman Estates believes in complete transparency when it comes to the fees we charge. There are no hidden extras for landlords to worry about and, before marketing your property, a member of our team will go through all of our fees with you to ensure everything is fully understood and agreed.

*All set-up fees are subject to a minimum fee of £300.00 + VAT (£360.00 inc. VAT).

For managed properties, the tenancy set-up fee is charged in addition to the monthly management fee, with both deducted from the first month’s rent.

Not all property management fees are as straightforward as they seem. Other agents may advertise low percentage rates, only to add extra charges later for essential services that landlords need.

Other agents may charge you extra for services such as:

  • Tenant referencing
  • Detailed photographic inventories
  • Deposit protection
  • Annual property inspections
  • Change of sharer during tenancy 
  • Arrangement of maintenance works
  • Service of legal notices
  • End-of-tenancy inspections
  • Deposit dispute resolution
  • Annual statement of income and expenditure

As far as we are concerned, these are not “extras” - they are essential to protecting your investment, minimising disputes, and ensuring a smooth tenancy.

All of these services are included in our management services. No hidden extras. No surprise costs.
